A middle-aged man died on Wednesday night, May 5, 2021 after his vehicle rammed into a lorry. The accident happened on the Southern Bypass in Nairobi, Kenya.Traffic Police says the driver of the BMW X5 was speeding when the vehicle smashed into the lorry the was on the fast lane. The driver’s compartment was crushed into small pieces and stuck under the under ride guard of the commercial truck.In social media,a lot of of discussions has been going on the accident.Some people has blamed on poor lighting of the road(road design),over speeding and the front truck designs.Whereas,this case will trigger emotions on who is to blame,many questions will still go unanswered.But all in all,lessons in defensive driving,drivers alert,keeping own distance and observing speed ,would likely provide answers to the future avoidance of such fatal accidents.
